Governor DeSantis just fired a State Attorney for being soft on crime.

Florida is strange in that the governor can fire an elected official for not doing their job.

It's subject to congressional approval, but it looks like congress agrees with the decision.

In a bold move, former state attorney Worrel says she will run for re-election and states that she will redefine the job outside the job description to continue to do what she just got fired for...

Good for her!

I love to see idiots waste money on lost causes.

It makes the popcorn go down easier.

I can see this cycle running...

Gets reelected.

Returns to the behavior that got her fired.

Gets fired again.

Even liberal ass Pinellas near me doesn't do this catch and release stupidity.
