End Of An Era

The Army is retiring the M1128 Stryker Mobile Gun System.

While I don't have any feels for the loss of the vehicle itself, this will mean that the last variation of the M68 cannon will be gone from US service.

I tossed a lot of 105 rounds through an M68.

  1. Well, it was supposed to be a stopgap vehicle while the Ground Combat Vehicle and the follow-up program got up and running. But those all got cancelled and we still have Strykers...

Maybe they can marinize the 105s and put them on LCSessessesssses...
