I've got enough minifigs to make my AT-TE part of the 501st battalion.
The kit originally came with 212th battalion troops, but not enough.
It needed three crew and had six seats for troops; but only came with one crew (the gunner) and three dismounts.
Now it's crewed properly and is accompanied with as many troops as there's seats. Admittedly, just three regs, an officer, sniper and jump trooper; but six.
Related, if the Imperial Army had deployed their dismounts on Hoth, Luke wouldn't have found it near so easy to take out that AT-AT with nothing more than a rocket tether, lightsaber and grenade.
